SOLITARY BEES: Evaluation of the risks of real sublethal doses of pesticides in food sources of solitary bees for the stabilization of natural ecosystem of pollinators with focus on fruit production
Project objectives
The aim of the project is to contribute to ensuring sufficient pollination capacity of solitary bee populations for sustainable fruit production.
The sub-objectives are:
- Stabilization of fruit production through a natural community of solitary bees.
- Determination of the influence of real pesticide exposures and their impact on solitary bee populations.
- Assessment of the risks of real pesticide exposures and their tank-mixes in the diet of solitary bees on their development and survival, focusing on the potential synergistic effect of active ingredients and the negative effect on the intestinal microbiome of bees.
- Processing of outputs with application in fruit production practice.
